Hey, I’m asia! i was a PROFESSIONAL photographer for sEVEN years, which means i understand:

• Composition, lighting, and color theory

• Digital camera technology and settings

• Emotional storytelling and natural flow

• The importance of quality and consistency

• How to weigh creative decisions

• Having impossibly high standards

If you’re looking for an editor who shares your desire for perfection, you’re in the right place.

“I’m honestly not sure how Asia does what she does… it feels a little suspicious in the best way. Every gallery comes back exactly how I would edit it, but somehow even better. It’s like she’s studied my work, my patterns, my preferences, and actually cares about getting it right in a way that goes way beyond what you’d expect. She’s insanely talented in Photoshop, can handle anything I throw her way, and somehow makes even my ‘this lighting was questionable at best’ moments look so good. I’ve fully stopped stressing about tough edits because I know she’s going to figure it out. On top of that, she’s an incredible communicator. She takes feedback and actually implements it. I never have to repeat myself, which is rare and so appreciated. And her sense of humor? Elite. Makes the whole process way more fun. If you want your time back, want to focus on shooting and creating, and still deliver work you’re proud of… hire Asia. Seriously.”

“Hiring Asia was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my photography business. Her edits are flawless and consistent, her turnaround times are reliable, and her communication is excellent! Because of her, I’ve been able to take on more sessions, serve my clients better, and actually enjoy my workload and time with my family again. She’s the kind of editor who makes your business feel supported, not just outsourced. She has been such a gift!”

“Asia has saved me about 10 hours PER elopement on editing. That’s 200+ hours per year. So yes, Asia is worth every cent. I worked with several editors previously, but I always had to adjust a good chunk of their work, so ultimately it felt like a waste of money. Asia was highly recommended to me, which eliminated my fear of wasting money. It always takes time for someone to understand your editing style, but with Asia, the first three galleries were practically perfect. As a new mom, I felt a huge sense of relief that I no longer needed to stress over this part of my business. With a task that used to take me over 10+ hours per gallery to do, now takes me a total of one hour from culling, editing sneaks, and uploading to my gallery. Asia is the best photo editor I have ever worked with. If you’re looking for someone who is open to feedback, communicates like a pro, is kind, AND is serious about giving you a quality product – then look no further. Asia is your person.”

What services do you offer?

Culling, color correction, cropping/straightening, object removal, skin retouching, face swapping, background replacement, denoising, and online client gallery upload and organization.

I utilize Lightroom, Photoshop, and Portraiture for editing, and the level of service you want is completely up to you!

What is your pricing?

Pricing is project-dependent, but you can expect a range of $50 for a mini session and up to $650 for a full wedding service. I’m proud to offer flat rates to all of my contracted clients – contact me for a custom quote!

I have a really specific workflow. Do I need to adjust to yours?

Nope! I’m happy to learn and adhere to your process so my work is consistent with your signature style and portfolio.

Can I send you just one or two sessions to edit?

I typically contract on a 12-month basis, but it doesn’t hurt to ask! Contact me for availability: asia@phaleastudios.com

What are your requirements for becoming a client?

I require two things from my clients: a consistent signature editing style and clear communication. If you edit based on how you’re feeling, change up your aesthetic preferences based on each individual session, or aren’t into an open back-and-forth dialogue, I’m probably not the editor for you.
